High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) has been shown to have a very positive effect on heart health, muscle mass and physiology, and has been shown to have maximum benefits for older participants. The variety and speed of the exercises mean that you won’t get bored, but also that it takes a shorter time to get results. This class is 45 mins, including warm up and warm down. 

What kind of exercises will I do? 


The exercises are numerous and varied. Interval training is done in sets of exercises, with short bursts of intense exercise, followed by a short rest. The exercises might involve cycling, dumbbells, skipping, or body weight movements - all done to your own level and carefully monitored by our exercise physiologists.

Is this class suitable for me? 


All exercises are age-appropriate and modified to suit your individual capability based on your individual assessment, so it really is suitable for anyone that wants to give it a go!  This is one of our most popular classes as it gives great results and will have you feeling strong in no time at all.


This is a medium group class.   There is a maximum of 8 people in this group.
