Who we help:

At Well Over 40 we help a wide range of people through various services.  We can see you for an individual consultation, or we run group consultations and even Make Your Own group sessions.  We are an Allied Health service, so if you are covered for exercise physiology under your private health fund you may receive a rebate on your fees.  ​

Private Patients

You do not need a referral to see us if you are coming privately.   We have a HICAPS machine at the clinic, so you can simply swipe your private health card and pay any gap.   If you buy a pack of classes, your rebate can be processed once you have been to each class, or at the end of your treatment period.

Our services are medical services and we will ask you to have an individual appointment from time to time to comply with Health Fund requirements and to ensure you are progressing towards your goals.

DVA and Medicare

Treatment and classes can be funded under DVA and Medicare in some circumstances.  If you are a Veteran, you can receive clinically required exercise physiology services in an individual or group appointment if you have a current D904 referral or letter from your GP specifically referring you under the DVA program. 

 

Strict criteria apply to treatments funded under Medicare and eligibility is at the discretion of your doctor.  We can bulk bill with a current Team Care Arrangement and referral from your GP.  If you have Type 2 Diabetes, you may be eligible for group exercise classes funding under Medicare, again with the appropriate referral from your GP.  

My Aged Care Packages

Exercise physiology services (and physiotherapy) can be provided under your My Aged Care Package.  We are happy to provide you with a quote for your My Aged Care service provider so that you can include these services in your package.  Please contact our office is this is something you are interested in.

NDIS

Exercise physiology services (and physiotherapy) can be provided under the NDIS.  Individual services and group services are both available.

We are registered NDIS providers under our parent company Fizzio for Life.

 

Workcover

We also provide exercise physiology services under Workcover.  You need to have a current Workcover certificate.  This service is run by Fizzio for Life - there's no need to be over 40!
